Bridging the gaps to create smiles that restore your confidence with dental bridges at Meon Dental Care.
Missing teeth can affect your smile, your ability to chew properly, and your confidence.
Our dental bridges are designed to bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth, restoring your smile's functionality and aesthetic appeal.
What are Dental Bridges?
A dental bridge is a fixed prosthetic device used to replace one or more missing teeth. Bridges are made up of two or more crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap — these anchoring teeth are called abutment teeth — and a false tooth/teeth in between.
Benefits of Dental Bridges
- Restores your smile;
- Restores the ability to properly chew and speak;
- Maintains the shape of your face;
- Distributes the forces in your bite properly by replacing missing teeth;
- Prevents remaining teeth from drifting out of position;
- They are strong, durable, and can last for up to 15 years;
- They are more cost-effective compared to implants;
- They are time-effective as they can placed within 2 weeks.
Fitting dental bridges is a relatively quick, easy and painless process. Process of fitting bridges involves the following 3 steps:
First Visit
A dental examination is carried out to identify the most optimal solution available to bridge the gap and any alternative options are also discussed with you.
Second Visit
Your dentist will prepare the adjacent teeth by reshaping them to hold crowns anchoring the bridge to replace gap(s). Impressions of your teeth are taken to create your custom bridge. You will be sent home with a temporary crown(s) to protect the exposed teeth and gums.
Third Visit
On the third and last visit, your custom bridge is fitted, adjusted, and cemented into place, restoring your smile's integrity.
